Hi, I've been hit with something. Everytime I open up IE Explorer, it opens up about:blank. The page has a generic search page. I have tried CWShredder, Spybot, adaware, norton, trojan remover. I have even been into the registry and removed the HomeOldSP entry. It just keeps coming back. I have a hijackthis log. Please can someone look at it and let me know what needs to be removed. Thanks

Katan, I've had a similar problem with what I think is a new variant of the IE 6 highjacker coolwebsearch. I dug deep into my Registry and found every reference to 'blank' I could and came up with keys referring to a brand new file called jiom.dll located in the /windows/system directory. I did a google search on this file but couldn't locate anything related...yet. This .dll file has no connection to any specific program or necessary service on my pc, so renamed it, moved it, even deleting every single registry key relating to it. I can't explain why but this solved the use:blank problem for me.
