Recently I have encountered problem associated with using IE. For some reason, it would hang when I go to www.yahoo.com and I have to use task manager to kill it frequently. I have used ZoneAlarm virus/spam, AVG virus, Spyware Doctor and other software and nothing shows up. So what is wrong with my brower? I have noticed when I set the ZA security setting to a lower setting the problem seems to occur less.

I have also noticed that when I try to save a picture from the IE 6.0. It would, be default, save as an untitled.bmp file? Somehow the setting was changed. If a picture were a gif or jpeg, I was able to save in those format. Somehow it got switched and I don't know how to change it back? Can anyone help? Thanks.

what I would do is all the basic spyware checks to be sure your PC is not infested. If you need some good free progs they are listed on one page in the red link.

Then I would up-grade to IE7 which is much more secure and has better features than IE6

Some HELP in posting on Cnet plus free progs and instructions Glad to Help!

Personally I would go with Firefox and not use IE with the exception of windows updates. It is a general pain and too many security problems.
