Yesterday, when I opened Norton it closed after a few seconds and my internet connection was being interrupted a few minutes after being initialized upon startup. I went into Safe Mode and ran norton which picked up two viruses that spead by Backdoor viruses and Kazaa (I do not have Kazaa installed).
Removal of these viruses did not help the problem, Norton still closed. Today I Went into task manager and closed programs until I found the one causing the problem. It was an svchost. I went into msconfig and found it under the startup tab. Disabling it allowed Norton to work, but my internet connection is still being interrupted.
I have tried various internet scans, and followed many suggestions for viruses with this behavior. I downloaded HijackThis, which gave me this log:
