I password protected nudity and pornography

Specs: Windows 7
I password protected nudity and pornography on my home pc with vista os. (Tools - internet options-content). I believe my browser is ie10 or 11. In any case, now it forces a password entry on all site and also won't let me drill down below the initial home page without a pwd and I can't even reply to or send new emails. (Rogers and gmail).

How do I a) remove the password so I can try something else.
b) What's with IE in Vista anyway. Why, when I only clicked on nudity and pornography, did it password protect every blessed site?!?
c) I discovered it would not let me activate parental controls in Norton360 on the admin account. I would prefer not to have to add a 'child' account to do this.

Windows Vista
HP something.

It sounds to me like you enabled the content filter, but didn't correctly set it up, so now it's trying to block everything. You did set a Supervisor password, and that's the only reason you're allowed to surf now as you do. What you need to do is go to: Internet Options (please tell me if you don't know how to get here) > Content>Settings (here, you might have to enter your password)> Ratings, and turn off everything you don't want to block by selecting it in the list, and moving the slider all the way to the right. Then, hit Apply, enter your password, and you're set.
