I was recently attacked by the virus. I think I removed it using Ad-Aware, Spybot, Spyware Doctor, and Smitfraud (hopefully), but my comp is still running slower (especially on the internet). Can someone help me if there's a problem?
thanks in advance!
bennett

If you were attacked by a virus than an inti-spyware program isn't going to remove it. A anti-virus program will, but NOT an anit-spyware one. Before you "removed" the virus, what did the virus do to your system? What virus was it?

Hi Violet :-)
I think, the OP said what they were dealing with, in their;
Subject: I need Safetyhompage.com Help!Just a guess, mind you. As it's hard to get to the main things, at times. Also, EVERYTHING, gets called a 'virus'. Don't know why, but they do, no matter what they are ;-)

I had the safetyhomepage.net malware hijack my browser. Its a scam. They want you to pay for removal after they put it there. Download PREVX1 from the internet (free trial)and run it. PREVX1 will jail the Malware. I tried 3/4 adware malware programs but non removed it except PREVX1. I now subscribe to PREVX1

Hi, Hobbit!
bennettno5 won't have to subscribe to keep the malware jailed, will he/she? It's just I know from personal experience that trial programs usually have a trial period that last sometimes for 24 hours, sometimes for a week, it depends. After it has reached the end of the trial period, it automatically deletes itself but not before asking if you wish to buy it online. Hehe! Been there, done that!
