Reply: (edit)You can download a bootdisk image from the internet. Try www.bootdisk.com Then get the DOS trial version of NOD32 Be aware, however, that it may be necessary to format the hard drive and reinstall your operating system if its beyond fixing! 808

Reply: (edit)one thing i disagree on and see alot of techs doing is giveing up on a customers computer and saying "well u got too many viruses we need to format"...formating the harddrive such be the very last thing on earth to do...all viruses are software and software can be deleted period. now getting to first post heres how u make a boot disk useing winme. click my computer,,,drive A: choose format...then checkbox copy system files once thats done with disk 1 ..go to avg click service..then rescue disk and follow the instructions u need 3 total disk...after they are done put disk1 back in drive and restart u going to enjoy watching avg run at boot up..therefore nothing else will be running but avg until system is clean. goodluck.

Reply: (edit)hi please include the following info in next post as to better help u with your problems. 1. what antivirus software you are useing 2. what steps have already been taken to resolve the problem 3. how long has the infection been on the system. now i will try to help u with what limited info u provide..i notice u useing win2000, so try to download this antivirus if u can its the best paid version on the market, but u only need it for the 30day trail to get rid of your problem www.nod32.com once u downloaded and install this..restart computer and press f8 key until u get a menu choice screen.........choose safe mode and run nod32 see what u come up with......... now worse case is possible boot virus or virus running while windows boots up..either one can be solved without haveing the format harddrive. try this first, and if u still have problems there are more things to do but lets do it step by step. goodluck.
