I had my pc wiped clean after having a black screen at startup with a win.com error and was unable to bootup in safe mode. Now I am dealing with other errors/issues. Errors: Msimn not responding - twice - while trying to open OE - used ctrl/alt-delete-end task Active desktop recovery - five times - not at startup - I unchecked view my active desktop as a web page web in display properties and set it to none OE exception in VXD NDIS - once Hanging at times viewing floppies I defrag/scandisk - twice Ran checks with etrust/trend house call/sfc/hwininfo /ui Ran pcpitstop/HJT Delete cookies/temp/temporary internet files/history/recycle bin Installed/uninstalled avast Now running with etrust 6.3 No viruses/spyware Installed Spywareblaster/HJT/Adaware/winzip/RegCleaner/dstop2/spyaudit/DI-604 router/Google toolbar/windows updates Q823559-Q840315/MSWord/MS Greetings/MS Media player Any advise would be great!
