When i turn on my computer, it comes up to a black screen and starts beeping. It doesnt go away untill i press shift( well thats the only thing i've tried). If i press Ctrl+Alt+Delete it just restarts n does it again.........Some 1 please help me i dunno wats wrong with it.

Only help i can give you is to look up the beep codes (the beeps will be in SOME sort of pattern) on the web page of the manufacturer of your mother board (or system. This will give you more of an idea whats wrong, instead of random beeps. :-)
(i dont know much, but hope that helps)

Does the OS ever load at all? Or does it just sit there with a black screen and beep at you? Possibilites include video display failure, memory failure, some others too. here's the thing, most beep codes have a pattern to them. Whether that be 2 short ones followed by a long one, or vice versa.
Each pattern of beep codes can and do mean different things, like one beep code for a memory failure and so on and so forth. The trouble is, they can also vary by BIOS maker. What beep code one BIOS Maker uses for, let's say, a video card failure, may very well not be the same code used by another maker.
Now, on more modern systems, the codes also manifest themselves in the form of visible number codes, such as 300-399, which in that case would mean a keyboard error. Check to make sure one of these visible number codes aren't coming up as well. In fact, if you get ANY error message at all, give it to us EXACTLY as it is displayed, word for word.
This post would be better suited in the Hardware forum, but the vast majority of us in the forums try to help out no matter where a particular post is or what it consists of.

G'day,
dw226 is correct, and Nesh has just about nailed it. What you have is the computer's POST codes. When a PC boots up it cannot assume that all processes are working (especially the visual - hence the sound)and has to go through a sort of checklist of functions.
I agree with dw226; post this to the hardware forum and (if you are able) tell us what the BIOS manufacturer is (AWARD, PHOENIX etc..)or the M/B.
There are many learned people there who will take the ball and run with it.
Good luck,
Elric
