I had downloaded this file that was sent to me on an instant message by my friend. I opened it then Norton antivirus notified me that I had a virus called Trojan.elitebar. When I started my computer up my wallpaper had been changed, my toolbars deleted, my settings changed, and a window that says 6arab4 pops up when i connect to the internet. I also have this program pokapoka69 which I can't locate. Please tell me how to get rid of this.

Download and install spybot search & destroy. Download and install Adaware 6.0 open both programs and update them. Run the etremover tool. Do not restart yet! browse to c:\windows delete the folder etb do a search for elite*32.exe delete all files you find. do a search for pokapoka69.exe If found delete it. run hijackthis click scan put a check mark next to all boxes that have pokapoka and elite**.exe in them. Click fix. scan your PC with adaware 6.0. Remove all that it finds. scan your PC with spybot search & destroy. fix all that it finds. Reboot your PC.
