hi, im not too great with computers, bare with me lol, i relaly need someones help, my norton has told me i have a C:\WINDOWS\system32\d3drm.exe trojan and it cant repair it
i have adaware and spybot search and destroy, but that doesnt work
please help me someone:(

ah win32 trojans always fun...........since u know the name and path u have alot of options.
1. restart computer press f8 select safe mode, log in under admin..find file and delete it or rename if u cant delete it.
2. u might want to look into better av protection, best on market right now is nod32 for 39 bucks a year..its well worth it..
3. u can download a trial version of nod32 at www.nod32.com
if u still need help just repost.

Since you haev Win Xp you have to disable-re-enable your system restore or it will come right back at you:
XP
http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgen...src=sec_doc_namNOD32 is an excellent system, if you are going o pay for an AV then this is worth it, I use it btw, also you can try it out for free for a month.
Also if this trojan comes back:
Use these in order:
Trojan Hunter trial version:
http://www.misec.net/Trojan Scan:
http://www.windowsecurity.com/trojanscan/SWATIT:
http://swatit.org/download.htmlalso, if you are using the Xp firewall, m'self I wouldn't use it. If you do not have a firewall or want a great free service, I use:
Free Sygate firewall:
