I got a virus and i don't know what to do

my husband got a virus on my laptop, and now i cant open anything.. WELL, it says that internet explorer may have been moved or deleted or rename. I click on netflix, and nothing happens. I downloaded malwarebytes, on our family computer on a flashdrive, and trying to open it up on my laptop and it cant.. can someone plz help me

oh no.... 1. Hold ctrl+alt+del and click processes and list every single one to me. 2. Before you do that, try Mcafee Stinger which you can get from here.3.If that does not work, before you do 1., do a system restore.

EDIT: ACTUALLY BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING......................... Boot a Windows Vista disc and click "Repair my Computer" and do a system restore.(The system restore window may not open for a minute or 2.(Don't know why)

tap f8 and select safe mode with networking, then download and run Malwarebytes in a full scan and fix all it finds....good place to start
