Why is it that i pass all security tests at www.grc.com with Zone Alarm Pro BUT as soon as i plug my pc via my D-Link (DI-604)Router, the PING test fails and im answering to all echo requests sent to my machine and zone alarm does nothing. There is meant to be a built in firewall in the router, ive already configured it to stealth port 113, but there is no information on blocking ICMP echo requests. TIA

Firewall software would do it, but your router firewall is not working properly. That would bother me.
I would try 1. resetting it 2. check for firmware upgrades 3. carefully check the router settings 4. make sure you do not have any virus or trojan that may have changed the firewall security settings.
