i am having problems with my netbook its being redirected a search engines results and whenever i run or try to run an ativirus (i have tried many mbam,avg,pc tools,hijackthis,autoruns,avast,registry mechanic)all of these will crash before scan is complete(hijack this,mbam,pctools)or just wont scan at all(avg p.s.avg doesnt crash just will not scan) and i would like to know how to fix this i have no cd drive so i cannot reinstall the os

AVG and Avast are the only AV products in your list. I think it's safe to assume you had no AV prior to this infestation! PS: He's using a MAC, and actually fell for the hype that he didn't need an AV program.
