Hi,
Anyone have any info on this? Not much on Google but a couple of claims "Defender" caught it. Nothing on Symantec or McAffee sites. Spybot S&D caught it on my machine, I let it delete it.
Just curious.

It sounds like a keylogger. That is a type of spyware that monitors your key stokes(typing). This particular one I don't know.Spybot caught it?That's a great program IMO.You know that it has a feature where you highlight(click on) a detected program and it gives info. on it?Good for you!Regards.JB

Jim,
Thanks for the reply. Spybot didn't have any info, either, other than it's a key logger.
Hopefully it's not supposed to be on my machine!

Hi Dave and Jim,
Try running Anti-Keylogger. If a keylogger program has been installed on your computer it will find it.
It does come with an uninstall program.Good Day!

I had previously downloaded KaZaA - then noticed this trojan keylogger on my computer after a scan was completed -
Virus Scan Details:
C:\WINNT\system32\H@tKeysH@@k.DLL was infected with Trojan.KeyLogger, but this file is cured. As you can see my computer is no longer infected.
I do not believe that Defender put the key logger here - but the KaZaA download did.
