Not sure I really understand the question. AVG updates, whether manual or auto, are only available via the internet. They don't sell 'em in book shops.
You could download them manually onto some other machine, put them on floppy or CD then transfer them over. I'm not sure if that meets your requirement because it still uses the internet for the initial download.
