buy a mac it has not had a virus sence 1997 market share still dicktates with the 72,000 -viruses for windows there is a lets say 4% market share -for mac that means there should be at least 18,000 -virus for mac but there is 0, why becouse of "BSD -scurity" on a mac! what is bsd? -BSD is a programing language on its own that has given -every object on a mac it's own set of privleges (is used -on a lot of super computers) these privleges let people -read and write to files. what revelence does it have to viruses and hackers? -viruses have to be programed to destroy the system -how can they do that if even u can't do that? -not only do they have to have the master password -witch is encoded into the unix and BSD mainframe -they have no way of activating unless u give them the -master password and load the programs if there in start -up items they can be (force quited) and removed form -the list of 2 items by the user removing them his list -linux's scuritty is not ven as good as a macs and it -doesent even have a defined sysetem that is baceline Why cant a virus just modify the system so it kills itself? -only the master user (system) can let it change those -files but the master user isn't a person she is the -system she doesent have a will of her own she won't -issue commands to let it happen without the password. Well then can't i just make a virus that gets the password from the users. -you can do that but it has to be downloaded by the user -and has to ask for the password (most users wont care -and just might give the password well they scrued up) -and luckly u still have a lot of protocalls in the system -that might just say i don't like what ure doing to the -system i will alert the user so he can stop this violation. hackers have the same problems and more. -hacker havesame problems he doesent even have -permission to see those files so to see them u need to -know how to program in terminal,bsd,unix,and core -darwin now do u even think spiware can get throw this i think not now if u want to program for the mac if u want to make applications and programs the software (just a side note its free with the computer) can be downloaded free if u get a free account at apple devolopers macs also beet windows in overall speed regardless of what anyone says under me i will tell u why. -all games that require windows speed are using a visual -interface (all games not text baced) have to have a good -graphics card the top cards are built into a mac -(incresses price of a mac right there) sound cards are -next (more money) and FPS (must be about 30-48) -well why doesent mac have the speed of windows then -(nobody even trys to compair) well the games were built -first for windows then for macs any bommed game -uasly doesent reach mac only the best games reach -mac (automatic spam filter LOL) and some good games -will never reach a mac but when they do (uasly they are -improved so they are much better then there windows -counterpart but this extra work cant do much in terms -of how fast the game will run in the end (at least -compaired to there windows counterpart witch has -been built from the biggining to work fast on windows -but the graphichs are more refined on a mac then a -windows so u end up trading speed for graphics woo what a rant oh well its all true so don't complain I am just helping as i see fit u want to say im bashing windows u can i give u my permission ohhh and i forgot to tell u bill gates is what we call a monoply why a monoply is something (exclusive control of a particular market that is marked by the power to control prices and exclude competition and that esp. is developed willfully rather than as the result of superior products or skill) now mac has a monopoly of hardware people say all the time bull s**t i tell u the truth just becouse i have the only computer that works doesent mean u can get mad at me macs are by definition: A system that completely works on all levels with its hardware!!!!! if i could bottel water for company a in OHIO but i import the water from alaska the water is bound to be flawed becouse of the middle man but if i bottel it at ohio then im going to have pure ohio water now i only sell this water in CA but the water from alaska is sold all over the country witch is better macs are not hardware or the system! there BOTH people tend to think otherwise bill gates has a monopoly thow becouse he controlls the system and doesent give us the best service -or- alaska water is a monopoly becouse it is sold all over the country _______________________________________________________ seriously monopolys are just a company that is in controll and is abuseing it by not offering great service or maby just highe costs GET A BRAIN ALL A MONOPOLY REALY IS IS PEOPLE COMPLAINING AND KING BIENG TO POWERFULL (power couroupts and abslute power couroupts absultly) im glad that apple doesent have that highe of market share becouse it keeps it's moralls that way windows doesent have any morells except we want to be in power richness and controll billgates was a smart man (he says i'll become rich if i develop the system and they develope the hardware) SO WHAT? people windows are worse then mac and thats always how its going to be? linux is much better then windows but unfortuently u can'run many games on it () or programs it is seceptable to viruses also 90% less or more then windows but it still has viruses (can be hacked and has)but in the end it tromps windows unix = mac false unix + BSD = mac false unix +bsd +darwin +(c++) + "classic mac os 9" + raw unadultrated power in a easy user interface + aqua +pearl (well sort of) = mac os x dont u get it there is so much we havent even scrached the surface 1.
