Is there any website or way i can report an ip address/hacker trying to access my computer?
Because my firewall keeps telling me somones trying to access my computer but it's being blocked. Any help on this topic would be great thanks.

Is this a computer at home? Do you have an ISP? Are you sure that someone is trying to hack you or is it possible that your machine is just connecting to an IP address while your Internet connection is open?

if you know the network name of the remote computer, you can determine the ISP they are using. tell the ISP. Some ISPs take this seriously and will take some action.

Do you have ZoneAlarmPro? If you do, there is a feature you can use to report the hacker. In fact, you can click on a thumbnail of the world map and it will tell you what state and possibly city, this hacker was from. Then, you can click on the part that says "report", and then a message appears that tells you if this hacker has been reported before. Also, it will tell you if it was a malicious attack or just a random attack. I love that feature, I report all the time whenever AZPro tells me there has been a hacking attempt on my IP address.

It could be just routine port scans which are like background noise on the net. You should check it out more throughly before you report anything. ZoneAlarm Pro will tell you what kind of attempt is was.
I have a router with a hardware firewall and I never even get port scans. Nothing like that gets past the router.

report all firewall logs here http://dshield.org/
They like to get them. DShield provides programs that will reformat your log for their use. When they get enough entries they send the info to the ISP for action. Looks like they have a good track record. Many scanners don't know they are doing anything since a trojan or worm has infected them.
If you happen to have a Linksys firewall, get Wallwatcher with the WallReviewer and WW2Dshield options. That will save the firewall log and send it in daily ( or on request). Those programs can be found at http://www.sonic.net/wallwatcher/

sonny,
Wow, that is great to know. I didn't know there was such a site. I do have a Linksys router too. Thanks.suzi,
Yeah, I always check out all the reports first before reporting. So far, all the notifications did happen to be hacking attempts. Even though my router with the firewall is hooked up to my comp, I do still get hacking attempts. Hmmm...--Viv :)

Go to:
http://www.arin.net
Punch in the ip address and enter.
It will give you all the info about the perpetrator's ISP company and administrative emails and telephone #s.
Hope this helps.
