You can use Adaware/Spybot from http://wilders.org to remove this spyware.

hi linda,
there a couple of mirar variants, and if you are not comfortable with working in the registry, i would recommend that you follow the capt's good advice:

try this if you wish:
Start the registry editor. This is done by clicking Start then Run. (The Run dialog will appear.) Type regedit and click OK. (The registry editor will open.)
Browse to the key:
'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Internet Explorer \ Toolbar'
In the right pane, delete the value called {179E4B4A-76C3-4F65-BCED-C9FA1A28D2EF}, if it exists.
Browse to the key:
'HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Internet Explorer \ Toolbar \ WebBrowser'
In the right pane, delete the value called {179E4B4A-76C3-4F65-BCED-C9FA1A28D2EF}, if it exists.
Delete 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Classes \ CLSID \ {179E4B4A-76C3-4F65-BCED-C9FA1A28D2EF}', if it exists.
Delete 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Classes \ CLSID \ {8A0DCBDA-6E20-489C-9041-C1E8A0352E75}', if it exists.
Delete 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ Browser Helper Objects \ {8A0DCBDA-6E20-489C-9041-C1E8A0352E75}', if it exists.
Exit the registry editor.
Restart your computer.
Delete the following files from C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000):
%SystemDir%\NN_BAR.DLL
%SystemDir%\NN_Bar21.dll
%SystemDir%\NN_Bar22.dll
Start Microsoft Internet Explorer.
In Internet Explorer, click Tools -> Internet Options.
Click the Programs tab -> Reset Web Settings.

hope this helps, all the best,
murve
