Specs: Windows XP

There is a popup in lower right corner HotDeals from Price Gong. It will not let me get to the X corner to remove, and is not showing up on control panel.

How do I get this off my computer?

If you get a credible answer, please post. I had the same pop up this AM. Prior posts were cryptic and inadequate.

Price gong actually has instructions on various removal technics. If that still doesn't solve your problem....download and run malwarebytes, remove selected items.

by clicking on it you have probably embedded it into your regsitry....read this:
http://www.computing.net/howtos/sho...

1st try
1- rkill.exe to stop the process
2- tdss killer to remove any unwanted rooykits if found
Then run Malwarebytes, update it then run a full scan mode removing all it finds.
If malwarebytes won't remove it, you can try Trjan Remoer and Hitman pro and fix all they find.

Some HELP in posting on Computing.net plus free progs and instructions Cheers
