I want to sell my laptop to someone however i am concerned about someone retrieving my personal information. What is the best way to clean or wipe the drive so that doesn't happen? Thanks!

You have 2 options:
1 - You need anther PC and a HDD case
step 1 connect the hdd to the other pc
step 2 start cmd and type: del <Drive here>:\ /F /Q
step 3 Wait for it to remove... and done
2 - You need the Windows install/recover disk
step 1 insert disk
step 2 load from disk (usually by pressing F12 then select CD-DVD)
step 3 Select the option "format or install"
step 4 install as normal and you are done!
