How to protect my PC? Gen:Variant.Kazy.864

September 24, 2010 at 04:23:03
Specs: Windows 7, Intel (R) Core (TM) 2 CPU 2,4 Ghz with 6 Gb Ram
Every time I startup my Pc BitDefender (updated) starts blocking multiple viruses, so it says.
The name is "Gen:Variant.Kazy.864" (without quotes). BD says my system is protected, the infected items have been treated, but I'm not happy with the situation of course.

It puts files named "tmp0012ce11" etc. with an amount of 165.0 k(all of them are equal) in te Windows\Temp directory, every second about 6 of them. So within a couple of minites I have a large amount of treated files. I'm able to delete them, but not all, some stay resident in the mentioned folder.

BitDefender came almost the same moment with its conclusions as I was starting/configuring Malwarebytes - nowadays called "Malwarebytes".
The malware- or virusprogram was stopped by BitDefender and I was enabled to delete all files in guarantine, 14 Gb!!!!!! It took BD about six hours to resolve the problem!
Lateron I started Malwarebytes' and it stil found infected objects.

Thanx for your reply.
