My Symantec Norton Internet security is always opening and saying that it finds bloodhound.exploit.196. How can I get rid of this. My internet has started freezing up and I believe that it is because of that.

I'd say try download SUPERAntiSpyware free edition and scan with that. If that doesn't help try booting in safe mode (press f8 as you boot your computer and select safe mode WITHOUT networking) and do a full scan with norton.
