When I try starting my Laptop HP 250 G4, it Display a message saying “Selected boot image did not Authenticate. Press <Enter> to continue.” I then pressed “Enter” as instructed but it immediately turns off.
I then runned a Hard Disk Test and the result became :
“Testing Drive: 1
SMART Check: PASSED
Long DST: FAILED
FAILURE ID: GSJL3L-82E856-XD7WLK-61FN03
PRODUCT ID : NOZ78EA#ACQ”

If you send the system back to vendor/manufacturer (at least the drive itself – presuming it’s under warranty) you will likely lose all your personal files etc. in the process. Highly unlikely any support team will bother to try to recover/save them for you…
