How To Find Mac Address on Net

I am looking for a method to determine the MAC address of a computer connecting to our server. I know this is possible because ISPs restrict access to the Internet by MAC address. Thanks

The MAC address is only seen by the device to which it is directly connected. Your ISP can only see the MAC address of your router or modem.
