I did that:

"In hotmail inbox click on contacts (left hand pane)
then click on the contact name then when a new window opens with the email addy just above it is edit/delete etc"

But you see, I have a MAC Pro and AdultFunRoom shows at the end of my contact list in Hotmail. I can't get it to show up in the contact to 'delete' it. Also, I can't stop emails from the 'viagra' site.

I have the free Mac virus software that I downloaded several months ago that supposidly was the best with free virus softwares---but I installed after I had the problem.

'Tekky' I'm not---help, help, help!!!!!!!!

This looks promising; please give it a try next.

Apparently MS allows spammers to "invite" you to arbitrary Live groups and they show up on your autocomplete until you "decline" the "invitation".

Stopping emails, even from a supposed single site, is impossible. If they go to your spam folder, that's the best victory you can hope for.

"You're seeing the unknown contact when clicking the To field because someone has invited you to join a Windows Live Group. Note that this unknown contact will now show up in your Contact list.

You need to decline the invitation to have this unknown contact removed in the To field drop-down. For the steps on how to decline an invitation, please follow the steps below:

1. Click Contacts.
2. Click View invitations.
3. Click on Groups.
4. Click No, thanks"

A thousand thank yous. I am a 61 year old grandmother, award winning school volunteer, and married for 40 years to the same man. I had three nasty sounding e-mail addresses at the bottom of my Hotmail contact list and didn't know how to delete them. I had tried the normal way and gotten no where. I looked through the Hotmail FAQs and gotten nowhere.
With your help, I just deleted "FunRoom", "KinkyChat", and "NakedChatsh". Did I not say they sounded nasty?
I am so relieved.
God Bless you! May the Fates smile on you!

Go to the "View Invitations" option from the Inbox page. The unwanted contact should appear as a sent invitation. Decline the invitation and then click report as spam. It should no longer appear as a contact. It worked for me. Good luck!
