I guess I need to do some reading. Can anyone point me to a good site OR explain this to me.
Some b.b. pages have the option to upload pictures to your post - problem is when I click to add pictures the page is showing my desktop or "d" drive or what ever. How is this possible?
Is it done with cookies?
Running NIV, Router (nav), and spybot
Thanks
J.

The web site is not seeing your drive or displaying its contents. But the HTML that is downloaded to your browser contain a "LINK" that points to your disk drive or one of its folders, instead of some web site. When you click on that link, your browser displays your drive, just like it displays a web page.

For example: Your C:\ drive .
