how do I trace a keylogger

Specs: Windows XP, 2.40GHz/2.00GB Ram
he has physical access but I see nothing on the unit. I have firewall and password protection. He uses both windows and linux. He no longer live here so I believe it is remote. I hear clicking, though I haven't timed the intervals between clicks. Its at least 30-60 seconds or longer

Physical access means that he can sit in front of the PC.
Hijack This will show you if there is a key logger.
Run netstat -an from a command prompt to show all connections.

Post whatever you don't understand.
