Hey folks...I've got a few things attached to my computer that I want to remover. When I checkout out what keeps getting reinstalled on my startup menu I show the following.....Anyone know if either of the following are removable?:
OLENMP C:\\WINDOES/SYSTEM/OLENMP.exe
Truw "C:\Program Files\iuae\ooab.exe: -vt ndrv
There are more but these two are the ones that seem to be the most aggressive. Thanks so much!

"remover?" ha...sorry. Also wanted to add that I'm also tormented by something called "oinadserver" that's slamming me with popups.
Thanks!
Jen

Try Hijack This then paste your log to the Analyzer Page
And download, update and run SpyBot Search & Destroy" It'll Get Ya When You Aint Lookin "

Thanks! There's a lot on there. I lost my explorer program a few years ago using this. I tried to get more info on the red files it found and it says no more info is available. How do I know if it's attached to Explorer or something else vital? If I have Netscape also, never use it, and it takes out my Explorer will the Netscape be left unaffected so I can download a new Explorer? And can these deletions take out more than just Explorer? Like my operating system?
Thanks...
Jen

http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=90271 for the steps to get rid of oinadserver. Easy to Google this stuff. Someone has always had your problem. good luck.

I always google before asking. Note that those were posted on Jan 6 and I searched like crazy when I first got hit with this last month and found nothing anywhere.

If you are sure that is the problem download killbox from this link Killbox
Double-click on Killbox.exe to run it.
Put a tick by Standard File Kill.
In the "Full Path of File to Delete" box, copy and paste each of the following lines one at a time.C:\\WINDOES/SYSTEM/OLENMP.exe
C:\Program Files\iuae
Click on the button that has the red circle with the X in the middle after you enter each file.
It will ask for confimation to delete the file.
Click Yes.
Continue with that procedure until you have pasted all of these in the "Paste Full Path of File to Delete" box.If you are not sure that is the problem please post a Hijack This log so that the files associated with the virus/spyware/hijacker can be identified. You can download Hijack This at this link http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt/ then place it into a folder of it's on, such as C:\HJT, so that back up copies can be made and not clutter your desktop or other folders and the backup copies of deleted items can be easily located if needed.
Once saved double click HijackThis.exe, and press "Scan". When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button.
Press that, save the log, Ctrl-A to Select All, and copy its contents into the text editor at this forum.Do not fix anything yet unless you know what you are doing. This is a powerful tool that can crash the computer if used improperly.
