A while ago I accidently downloaded a keylogger in disguise. At first I ddint see it until these random pop ups kept coming up saying 'norton anti-virus scanning outgoing mail'. this was continously happening. There was no way to stop the outgoing email in the couple seconds i had before the scan was sent.

I deleted the file, scanned my system, used window washer, ad-aware, and a program called whose watching me. all 3 have not picked up a scent of the keylogger. still the emails keep going out and i dont know from where either. the emails arent leaving through outlook or hotmail. I got an advanced anti keylogger but all this does is protect my keystrokes from the keylogger.

This is good enough for me but the only catch is i have a 15 day trial bfore i gotta pay up like $90 which is absurd. I would really appreciate any help such as porgrams, where to look for the keylogger, etc... thank you very much for your time and help.

1st download and install a firewall,
sygate has a free version, and it will ask
what you want to let in and out.
and a search of google
returns quite a few keylogger scanners.
you could also try hijackthis and see what reg entries, if any, it has added.
