You are very fortunate as there is a new very destructive version going around and that your antivirus caught it and has the file in quarantine, so you system has the worm in check. It is a multifunction little bugger. If you want to use Symantec's removal instrcution go to their website and print them out and follow them exactly. You must have a firewall to stop reinfection and additional spreading of the worm. Make sure you check all the shared files, like your awaiting printer actions. There are two posts at this forum that you should read; http://www.computing.net/security/wwwboard/forum/3784.html and http://www.computing.net/security/wwwboard/forum/3289.html. Take care and all the best!

To remove from quarantine, open your quarantine file and click delete. If you dont know where the quarantine file is, just go to start/find and files and folders and type in quarantine and when it comes up will look like a jar or vitamin bottle. Double click on it to open it, highlight the virus, and click delete. It will ask if you are sure, say yes. You may also get a box that comes up first that says new files have been downloaded do you want to try a repair, say no. Good Luck :-)Cat
