I've read about them, yes. They are a javascript code and they left on your PC even after you have deleted the standard cookies, Flash cookies and the other kinds of cookies.

I personally use Mil Shield. Has lots of great functions and helps me to get rid of the tracking evercookies and other cookies. It keeps my PC in very good shape.

I'm a little suspicious about any recommendations about Mil Shield because I was over at the PC World website and apparently someone involved in Mil Shield wrote a blog that wasn't supposed to be a product advertisement but actually was.... so PC World axed out the link to Mil Shield. Point being that we can't take any postings that promote Mil Shield to be coming from actual customers, as opposed to Mil Shield sockpuppets. It may well be a very good product but there's no way of knowing from the postings, since their origin is now going to be suspicious from the get go.
