You can see any attempts but im sure that you need a fixed ip address. You can check the event logs.
Start, control panel,( in classic view) and Administrative Tools, event viewer.
In the event viewer select serurity on the toll bar at the top click view and then filter and unselect success audit this will show all failed logins. after trying this post back and let me know what you find. in you double click on any failed audits and copy the description on here it would help.

The anti virus should not affect this, That option in security show you login attempts if there are successful or not. if nothing is in the failed attempts then you most likely are not getting hacked.

What made you think you were being hacked to start with?

I was reading this post and followed your advise and I have ALOT of failures, but see that your conversation ended without me knowing what to do. My email has been hacked and I don't know what to do about it. Thanks!
