How can hecker steal data?

February 23, 2011 at 02:31:18
Specs: Windows 7
A footage of the private life with my wife was stored in a portable USB drive(about 60MB).

I yesterday plugged this USB drive into the computer and watched it for 40 minutes. Then, I plugged it out.

But I am currently afraid that my computer may contain virus or some heckers might have stolen this file while I was watching this file in my computer?

As I am very anxious, I want to know how is the possiblity that this horrible thing could have happened?
Thank you.

The chances are quite low, but I would recommend that you scan your PC to make sure there are no keyloggers on your PC.

Keyloggers are what harvest and steal your private information and files. For more on keyloggers, and for suggested scans to see what's hiding on your PC, take a look here:

I would recommend you try running PC Health Advisor from that site, it will scan your registry, scan your viruses and spyware, and make sure that everything is clean.
