It worked alright the first time I used it some months ago. now whenever I try it, it starts to download the info and then chucks up an error:
"warning, the housecall api did not define a native binding".
I'm using firefox. Both firefox and java have had updates released since the last time I used housecall so I presume it might be something to do with that. I have tried uninstalling all of java then reinstalling the latest version to no avail. Note that i cannot use internet explorer because I have enhanced security active which is preventing activex controls being used (and it's a hassle to turn it off, especially just to see if housecall will work, which it probably won't).
Firefox's error console shows this when the error comes up;
Error: this.delegate.bindDelegate is not a function
Source File: http://eu-housecall.trendmicro-euro...
Line: 108Sooo. is this a f--- up with trend's software or is it firefox/java that is to blame? OR, is it all my fault and there's an easy solution 9besides using IE that is, or indeed downloading a free security app or something)? Any help appreciated.

I already searched google. For firefox people kept coming up saying it was the adblock extension causing the problem. But seeing as I don't have the adblock extension installed, that isn't my problem. I also tried turning off the built in pop-up blocker and flashblock extension of which I do use (but since I was using the java housecall api flash shouldn't have anything to do with it). Needless to say none of that worked either.

I am having the same issue. I have had it in the past when I had adblock installed, but after the most recent firefox update it wont work. Other java apps like www.typingtest.com work, just not Housecall.
