I just closed call of duty 4 and my screen had multicoloured lines all the way across loads down the page so i could hardly see anything behind them (they distort the image). I didn't think anything of it and restarted - when i did i had the same poblem, only after abut 5 mins it blue screened: i did not catch the error code. Restarted again and went straight to blue screen. So, seeing as i was upgrading to win. 7 anyway i thought i would format my 120gb HDD and install win. 7. That didn't work. I have installed latest drivers for my "Triplex ati radeon HD 3850". Yet, the screen is fine when the loading screen starts and in bios etc. so how can i be sure its the graphics card before going thru the mundane task of sending it back un manafactureers guarentee or whatevr when i have no receipt?? a BIG thanks to anyone who replies i will keep this website up on my lappy.
