You need (if you haven't got them already!!)
1. SpywareBlaster from
www.wilderssecurity.net/spywareblaster.html
2. SpyBot Search and Destroy from
www.safer-networking.org
3. Ad-aware from
www.lavasoft.com
4. CWShredder from
www.merijn.org
Read the notes from Merijn (blue, centre of screen and get CWWWSearch.SmartKiller removal tool also and follow the instructions)When downloaded open the programs and UPDATE them immediately before running them.
ALL are free!!!
All will require regular updating - weekly at least.
SpywareBlaster will run in the background and will not need to be run manually.
BUT - REMEMBER THE UPDATES!!!!!

My user name keeps changing and I downloaded all the programs Ray Peate said. I ran them all and even found the web site listed that it keeps changing to. There were 6 of it so I clicked em all and then clicked fix checked. It said r u sure u want to remove/repair these 6 selected items. I clicked yes and it made back-up copies so I deleted them and emptied the recycle bin. I then ran another scan and they were back. I have done it serveral times and still they keep coming back and I can't get off this homepage. Help!!!

I'm having the same problems. Did you ever get yours fixed? I've tried everything I know and still can't keep my home page, I'm also getting unwanted desktop icons that keep coming back. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
