I just downloaded the Hijackthis. You unzip, load it and do a scan. Then place a check in a file and do a "More info on selected Item"
Then you can see what that particular file is all about.
Why does everyone keep asking if in fact they should they delete a particular file or files ?????

Although a very good question,it's become qutie an old one.It seems nobody wants to take the time to learn it...just to fix it,quick.
I wish I had the links to all the threads dedicated to that very train of thought here at this forum...I can, however, offer this to "future HJT posters"

Thank you for the prompt reply. I think that everyone should decide what to remove and, just do it. Then if it does not get your computer going again, repair, format or what ever you have to do.
I have looked at a lot of info about Hijackthis on this forum and did not see where someone suggested they learn a little more.
I would like to extend my "Thanks" for everones patience. And, would suggest that all those posting a "Log File", do some reading first. I may be mistaken but I think that most programs you download have a "Help" file?
Thank you for all who contribute to this site. Keep up the good work.
