I have been getting tons of e-mail that says "undeliverable" and I haven't sent any out. I called my provider, Comcast, and was told I had a virus. I've done numerous scans, FixKlez, SwatIt, and a few others and haven't come up with anything. When I go into my e-mail, NAV usually finds an e-mail or 2 with a virus and I delete them. But I'm still getting the Undeliverables. Any help out there? I'm going nuts trying to remove this virus. Thanks

Have you tried a free Online virus and trojan scan like HouseCall_AV on your system? Might pick up something. If it does not detect anything either, then its not you that is infected, but someone who has your e-mail address in their address book.

You would have to look into the e-mail headers to find the actual IP address(s) of the sending system.

Hello Diana,
problem described here looks like an attempt of a trojan virus which didn't success to install itself into your computer.
Try this program called "trojan's Remover" you can download it from the address:
http://www.simplysup.com/tremover/details.html
This is a freeware for one month, then a shareware to get the update of athentic trojan's signatures, but the freeware feature already detect and erase over 6000 signatures... which is enough to help you...

Hi Diana, Run the Housecall scan that JackG suggested. If you come up clean, don't worry about the 'undeliverables'. just delete the notices.
More than likely, someone who has you in their address book is infected with Klez. They are sending out the infected emails (unknown to them)with your email address 'spoofed' into the 'from' address.
This is a little trick that klez plays.

The klez virus spoofs email addresses, and I am guessing that someone who has your name in their address book has that virus and puts out email using your email address. You might ask everyone in your email address book to run an online scan at either Housecall or Panda to see if they have virus. Only other thing you can do is just delete those that come in saying undeliverable. Good Luck to you. :-)Cat
