Hi, I ran StartupList (version 1.52) and in the "Enumerating Task Scheduler job" section, I see an entry for a job listed as: A9BA26209181DDBC.job I looked in C:\Windows\Tasks and there is no such job listed (infact it's empty as I don't normaly use Task Scheduler). I searched the registery and nothing found with the name. Any idea where StartupList is picking this entry from? Thanks.

It looks like spyware called "lop".

Searched in google for spyware lop signature and searched for all registry keys as well as programs associated with lop.com. None found. I ran both Ad-aware and spybot and either one detected anything. HijackThis log doesn't show anything that I'm not familiar with. So, where is StartupList looking when it found the scheduled task?

Run HT scan>go to config>misc tools>check these two boxes to the right of " generate startup list" List also minor sections List empty sections Then press generate startup list and post it.Maybe we can see the rest of the files in there. Sure looks like a lop signiture.The registry key would be hidden anyway and there would only be one most likely. We would need a different tool to find it.

One thing I should mention also is there is no sign of any toolbar or popups on my computer or redirection when I'm browsing. Just that mysterious scheduled task. My sygate personal firewal traffic log doesn't show anything going outbound other than those that I recognized. Maybe whatever it was, it got cleaned out by AVG (Free Edition) and the scheduled task is a partial left over.
