Hey virus from my comp disappeared

Before I posted da msg on dis board abt my comp infected with Yaha32K and QDel200, my brother had located the files and deleted them. But even after that when I ran a McAfee online scan, there were still files infected wid da virus. So den I went to symantec site and downloaded da yahafix tool. But when I ran it, it said YahaK virus cannot be detected on ur computer. So I deleted da tool. Then after a few days I got a Norton Antivirus Cd and ran a scan. And it culdnt find any infected files either. And just now I ran a McAfee online scan and it culdnt detect anything either. WHAT HAS HAPPENED? THE VIRUS JUST VANISHED INTO THIN AIR!!!!
