I need help.
I downloaded what I thought were music files from limewire but they turned out to be porn videos (there are two). I can't seem to delete them from my Incomplete folder now. I'm not very good with computers, but I downloaded Icesword, which said it couldn't delete the Incomplete folder, and I also tried downloading Killbox which couldn't delete the folder either and also couldn't find the files. I've since tried to delete limewire (because I want nothing to do with that program) but that won't go either.
One of these 3 free progs should work for you: Move on boot unlocker Dr Delete Google for those and my guess will be Dr Delete will be the one to delete it for you. Let us know what works for you. Thanks
First of all whatever you do don't download any more 'removal programs' such as killbox - they too could be infected with viruses and anything they can do so can you. I've had a similar problem and what I did after I nearly soiled myself was to just delete the folder that the undeletable files were in and that got rid of them. As to not being able to remove limewire I don't know, you could try just deleting manually from the program folder.
Thanks for the responses everyone. In reply to wordlibrary, I can't rename the files as I am not given that option when I right-click the file. I can only open, attach, send to etc. - There is no way for me to edit any aspect of the file. I also can't delete the folder, as a warning message comes up saying it cannot be deleted. I have been aprehensive to download programs as other people have told me they may have viruses. I don't mind purchasing a program if it is reputable. Any suggestions?
