Comment:

my anti-virus program detected a virus called win32/adware.virtumonde.o application. which is located in vturs.dll
It told me it will deleted after restarting but everytime I restarted my pc, it pops up again. I tried deleting it in safe mode but when I go back to normal mode, the antivirus window pops up again with the same virus.

Hey skinnyazn,

This trojan you have is also called the Trojan Vundo... It can be removed by using Webroots SpySweeper... First try running a scan using this software and see if it helped... If it did not help then follow the instructions you have in the following link:

http://knights.orgfree.com/xforum/viewtopic.php?t=3&sid=61f29d93f750821e97d13b43d51b066e

Let us know if it helped,

Good luck,
Nick
