Agree....
Try to boot to Safe Mode (press F8 during restart, then select the Safe Mode choice when a plain text list appears).
IF it will boot to safe mode okay (an odd looking Windows screen)...open your Anti Virus program and scan the Entire hard drive.
Then...if you have some spy ware like AdAware installed...run that too.
-OR- -- If you do not have any Anti-Virus or spyware installed at all....then:
download a copy of Adware from download.com (using another computer) and save it to a CD.
Then boot your computer to safe mode (if it will), install AdAware, and run it.

Im able to successfully use my computer in safe mode, and I have ran an antivirus and an adware program that have come up with nothing. After I checked my disk for errors and defragmented the harddrive, I was able to run my computer normally sometimes. On the times it doesn't crash right away I'm able to open some applications but then it crashes again. Is there anything else I can do?
