Help with Symantec finding Adware

After running Norton AntiVirus and doing a full system scan in both 98se and XPpro (have a partition on computer) ONLY in 98se is it detecting threat alerts in XPpro for Adware (14 in all). The Adware issues are:
After reading what symantec recommends on all Adware threats I came to the conclusion that I did not have any of these issues until I downloaded Spybot search and destroy version 1.3 with all it's updates. Only thing I can't figure out is... why is it detecting the issues ONLY in XPpro and not in 98se since I am running Spybot 1.3 in both windows versions. I also am using Ad-aware 6.0 and make frequent updates on both windows versions also.
What should I do about the Adware threats that are detected in XPpro and not in 98se?
