I can't seem to completely get rid of either "specific911" or "clickit.go2net.com" with the various anti-spyware programs I am running. These hijackers keep taking over my web search with either IE or Firefow. Can anyone help?

You will most likely need to post a Hijack This log so that the files associated with these trojans can be identified. You can download Hijack This at this link http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt/ then place it into a folder of it's on, such as C:\HJT, so that back up copies can be made and not clutter your desktop or other folders and the backup copies of deleted items can be easily located if needed. Once saved double click HijackThis.exe, and press "Scan". When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button. Press that, save the log, Ctrl-A to Select All, and copy its contents into the text editor. Once you copy it into the text editor scroll down below Options and check the "check this box to preserve you spacing". Do not fix anthing yet. Let someone review your log.

HijackThis log is attached below. I would be greatful if anyone could have a look at it. Seperately, my scan results form Spyware Doctor show repeated infections by Infospace, Go2net.com, and Specific911. There must be a relationship here? The HP tech told me I should do a system recovery. I use optimum online ISP and they conduct their web searches thru InfoSpace. So I suspect this may continue to happen even after I preform a system recovery. Has anyone experienced this problem with Optimum Online searches? Thanks. Search for this file and see if you have it 088667.vom it is the InfoSpace trojan.
