I know there's already been a Magistr.B thread, but I didn't find it helpful. Here's the long and short of it all. I'm not 100% sure I have Magistr, but it acts like it. I am unable to run most .exe files and whenever I click on a hyperlink I am redirected to some random website. Anything from a google search, to a real estate developer, to raunchy porn, and everything in between. I am unable to install spybot search and destroy because for some reason I can't connect to their server. I am unable to update my AVG 8.5 because it won't connect to their update server. I used Trend Micro's online scanner and got rid of almost everything it found. I couldn't, however, get rid of the corrupt autorun.inf files associated with each hard drive (C:\autorun.inf). I have no way of finding these files so I can kill them and worry about repairing Windows later. I have exhausted my options and need help. Any help/information would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

Jeebus 117, Try Autorun Eater which is Free at the link below.

If need be download it using another computer, save it to a CD, pen drive, .etc.
then transfer it to the problem computer, install it and run it.

The Autorun Eater worked wonders. I think I have eliminated the virus, but there is some lingering damage to windows. I am still unable to run some .exe files and still can't update any programs.
