Hi,
I've found this dialer on my connect to list, and have since found out what this will do. How do i remove this dialer and any related problems i may have but dont know about. Im running McAfee internet security which i keep updated but nothing else. Which additional malware/spyware removal tools should i use to remove this dialer.
Since finding the dialer i have disconnected my internet connection fearing it may connect without my knowledge. McAfee cannot find anything at all. I have been recommended to use Ewido to remove it, will this work?
All help appreciated

Download Hijack This and paste your log on the Analyzer Page
Post back if you need further assistance
" It'll Get Ya When You Aint Lookin "Please Post back to let us know if we helped

Also you may try Ewido Anti-Malware
" It'll Get Ya When You Aint Lookin "
Please Post back to let us know if we helped

Please post a Hijack This log so that the files associated with the virus/spyware/hijacker can be identified. You can download Hijack This at this link http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt/ then place it into a folder of it's on, such as C:\HJT, so that back up copies can be made and not clutter your desktop or other folders and the backup copies of deleted items can be easily located if needed.
Once saved double click HijackThis.exe, and press "Scan". When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button.
Press that, save the log, Ctrl-A to Select All, and copy its contents into the text editor at this forum.Do not fix anything yet unless you know what you are doing. This is a powerful tool that can crash the computer if used improperly.

Thanks for the help, I tried Ewido and it found the following infections.
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{4da4616d-7e6e-4fd9-a2d5-b6c535733e22} -> Adware.Generic : Cleaned with backup
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objecta\{4da4616d-7e6e-4fd9-a2d5-b6c535733e22} -> Adware.Generic : Cleaned with backup
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects\{4da4616d-7e6e-4fd9-a2d5-b6c535733e22} -> Adware.Generic : Cleaned with backup
C:\WINDOWS\system32\nvctrl.exe -> Hijacker.SpyAxe : Cleaned with backup
These were not cleaned when running in normal mode but when i ran ewido in safe mode they were cleaned.
I also ran a hijack this log, as i dont know weather this will have totally resolved my problems. Here is the hijack this log.

Hope i did this right if not; could you give some further instructions to aid my incompetance.
All help appreciated

Please download smitRem.zip and save it to your desktop from this link http://noahdfear.geekstogo.com/smitRem.exe Open the file and it will extract itself to a new folder called SmitRem.Do not run a it yet, well run it in safe mode later.
Don't run ATF-Cleaner until afer running HT again and you are in safe mode.Please download
http://www.atribune.org/content/view/19/2/ by Atribune.
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Under Main choose: Select AllReboot into safe mode
Click the Empty Selected button.Reboot into safe mode by following the directions Here
Now to get rid of any spyaxe files. Open the smitRem folder, then double click the RunThis.bat file to start the tool. Follow the prompts on screen. Your desktop and icons will disappear and then reappear again, this is normal.
Wait for the tool to complete and Disk Cleanup to finish, this may take a while; please be patient.Next go to Start > Control Panel > click Display > Desktop > Customize Desktop > Web > Uncheck "Security Info" if present.
Run Hijack This again from safe mode, close all windows and browsers except HT, place a check to the left of the following item and press "fix checked":
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://uk.red.clientapps.yahoo.com/customize/btyahoo/defaults/sb/*http://uk.docs.yahoo.com/info/bt_side.html

Now run AFT-Cleaner
The Yahoo redclient.apps files can be removed.
Reboot into normal mode.Run this free online scan from Panda
When the scan completes, if anything malicious is detected, click the See Report button, then Save Report and save it to the desktop, then copy/paste into the text editor and post it and a new HT log.

Thanks for the help so far,
I've followed the steps in response 5, things appear to be improving but the Panda Active scan still found 2 problems, 1 dialer and 1 potentially unwanted program. See a copy of the report below.
