well I've done it again. Picked up some sort of file. Whenever I start up my Windows 2000, it automatically opens WINZIP which is now looking for a deleted file c:/WINNT/Melda.zip (I managed I think to shred with with CWshredder). Initially, i think it set up a program in my C: drive called "myway and search bar". I deleted those contents too. ItBut it's annoying to have this on WINZIP error on startup everytime. I looked in HT. I did run both those scans. Came up with nothing. I think I CWshredder got the exe file but something was left over in windows that was triggering it to unzip on start-up. That wasn't found. You know what found the virus? (btw, I did some research - it's the Ronoper B virus). Panda Activescan 5.0. Found it and a bunch of other infected files. Stuff that Norton and Trojanscan missed. Free online scan. Took 45 minutes. completely worthwhile. I think I have it solved.
