I have a spyware or virus that I can't get rid of, can anyone help me out figure out. My IE keeps opening pop up windows about every 5 minutes with the IE address saying

I ran AVG and used Microtrend's Online virus scan plus used Spybot S&D, I just can't get rid of it, according to AVG it says it is purged with IE and can't be cleaned.

I work at a local computer shop as a technician and we CONSTANTLY get in computers with varying symptoms, but most are caused solely by spyware infections. Run Lavasoft Adaware and Spybot S&D in Safe Mode with Networking. As the computer is booting up, press F8 and you'll be presented with a few options including Safe Mode with Networking. This will allow you to remove problems that you aren't able to in Normal Mode.

Make sure also, that they are current on their definitions files.
