NAV detected Ramsys.exe in Windows/System. not knowing of the danger, I quarantined it. I read up on the trojan and it said DO NOT delete or quarantine it. It claimed that it deletes the entire contents of the hard drive. My Hard Drive seems fine though, but before this I was experiencing massive slowdowns and crashes. Any help/advice would be appreciated.

Update - I found that Ramsys.exe was infected with a Backdoor.Trojan virus, not Trojan.Sheehy. Very weird. It also detected winserv.exe, having a Trojan named "Trojan Horse", which is apparently Rare and infects .exe files.

hi ,new to computers my virus scan picked this up and i deleted it whoops i tried to do a restore but cannot seem to get it to restore to previous date.every time i boot pc it gives me a message cannot find file.ionly have a mesh recovery disc and i do not know what to do is there any way i can resolve this before i deletes all my files.can i download this file from anywhere to restore it.it is a 2000amd 512 ddr ram xp home thanks i hope someone can be of assistance
